If you're wondering why all these hacks and tips and strategies that LinkedIn gurus have been spewing out haven't really been working as well for you as it did for them...
It's because niches like "Content wiring", "Personal branding", "Mindset (Can't find the right work for what I'm thinking)" have a million eyeballs on it already.
But Pfizer is probably not going to hire a random fresher Copywriter off of LinkedIn. This doesn't fly the second you enter the B2B market, or any specialized industry/focus area.
It's the classic chicken and egg story all over again. We're pushing a lot of "Content Writers" and "UI/UX Designers" (That's all I see on my LI feed due to my affiliation) into the market without formal "training" and I don't know if the market even really needs this ( As opposed to a few competent expert teams (Note: Not team of experts))
My advise, for whatever it's worth, is learn by practice (Internships, mentorship, etc.), classes and courses only go so far. When you're in the real world, when you're responsible for someone's livelihood — and I kid you not, that's what it is, be sure to have a reasonably good idea of what you're up to.
PS: I would love to see people more enthusiastic about genuine mentorship from both ends (Disclaimer: I haven't looked much into that field)
